“Take your positions,” Aunty Favour said gently, yet with authority.

We rose to our feet slowly. Our bodies were weak, but our spirits were awakening. A holy anger was rising in me. Enough of crying. Enough of carrying what we didn’t cause. It was time to fight.

Aunty Favour stood, her Bible open in her hands.

“Mololuwa… Setemi… Pamilerin…” she called our names one after the other.

“You were not there when your father made the covenant. You didn’t partake in the bloodshed. You were children, and even as adults, you were ignorant. But the devil doesn’t pity ignorance. What he counts on is silence. But not today!”

She raised her voice slightly.

“Today, you will raise your voices and pray! You will stop the accuser in his tracks! You will plead your case before the God of Mercy and scatter every evil court sitting against your destiny!”

We nodded in agreement. My heart was racing. My mouth was dry. But I was ready.

Aunty Favour lifted her hand and declared:

“Shout this first one …Every accusing tongue speaking against my joy, peace and success… be silenced forever in Jesus name!”

Our voices echoed like thunder.
The prayer made a lot of sense to me personally, instead of begging the dead, I needed the Lord to silence their accusing voices.

“In Jesus Mighty name we pray…”

” Amen!” We roared in answer

” That was good! I love the desperation and seriousness….You will say the second one Loud and clear…” Aunty Favour said and we waited like hungry dogs looking at the hand of our master. We were waiting like thirsty people for the next prayer ..

“Every legal ground the enemy is standing upon to fight me… earthquake of the Lord, swallow up that legal ground in Jesus name!”

“Ha!” Setemi screamed. She was sobbing loudly as she prayed. I heard grief in her cry. She just lost a precious daughter.

My feet felt unsteady. I held on to Pamilerin’s hand. She was shaking. So was I. But we pressed on.
We knew something was happening in our lives…

” God is the Solid Rock and our solid ground, every other ground is a sinking ground..Oh Lord…you are the solid ground that swallows every other ground…swallow every legal ground fighting me and my family” I heard her scream…

” In Jesus name we pray…”

“Evidences tendered against me in any evil court… catch fire and burn to ashes in Jesus name!” Aunty Favour called the next one…

Something was breaking in the spirit. I could feel it. As though unseen chains were falling to the ground.

” Shout the fourth one loudly …Who have I unknowingly or innocently hurt… and has tendered evidence against me in the court of Life… Oh God of Mercy, arise and vindicate me in Jesus name!”

Tears streamed down my cheeks. I could hear Setemi sobbing through her declarations. But her voice was firm.

” In Jesus name we pray. Scream the fifth one like your life depends on it …Who did my parents offend and has decided to hurt me as a payback… Oh God of Mercy, arise and deliver me from their vengeful hands in Jesus name!”

The atmosphere in the room shifted. It was as if a veil had been torn.

  1. The part “…who did my parents offend and has decided to hurt me as a payback…” is really an eye opener as the Holy Spirit reminds of the revelation I once had but I didn’t understand.
Truthfully, many revelations are only when the appropriate moment arrives.
Thank You ma for this, may you continue to be a vessel on to honour.

  2. God is our firm foundation, all other grounds are sinking sand 🙌

May God deliver us from spirits of accusations from our forefathers in Jesus’ name 🙏
    More grace ma 🪔

  3. I get chill from this story everytime…
It’s things that’s happening in people lives.. Thank You Jesus
