Tola had spent the whole night worrying.

Bills were piling up.
A long-awaited breakthrough had not yet come.
And the prayers she had been praying for months seemed to be floating in the air without answers.

She tossed on her bed, thinking about every possible solution.
“How will it happen?”
“Where will the help come from?”
“When will God answer me?”

By morning, she was exhausted — not from work, but from worry.

Later that day during her quiet time, she prayed again and poured her heart before God. When she finished, she remained on her knees, still trying to imagine how God would solve the problem.

Then a simple thought dropped into her spirit:

“Why are you trying to do My job?”

She paused.

Hadn’t she already prayed?
Hadn’t she already asked God?

Then she remembered something farmers understand very well.
When a farmer plants a seed in the soil, he doesn’t dig it up every hour to check if it is growing. He plants it, covers it, and goes to rest, trusting the process of growth.

That was when Tola realized something powerful:
Prayer is planting a seed. Faith is leaving it in God’s hands.

That night, for the first time in weeks, she slept peacefully.

Not because the problem had disappeared.
But because she finally trusted the One who could solve it.

Many people pray, but few truly believe.
After praying, we continue worrying, calculating, and trying to figure out what only God can handle.

But faith means this:
You pray, you believe, and then you rest.

God does not need our anxiety to perform miracles.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Mark 4:27 – “Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, teach me to trust You completely after I pray.

Father, remove worry and replace it with faith in my heart.

Lord, help me to rest in the assurance that You are working things out for me.
