Kola could not hide his frustration. Everywhere he turned, people were talking about Chinedu’s success. His work was gaining attention. His name was rising. Doors were opening.

At first, Kola tried to ignore it. But envy slowly turned into obsession.
“What will it take to stop him?” he muttered one night.

He began looking for ways, subtle ways to pull Chinedu down. He spread rumors. He tried to sabotage opportunities. He aligned himself with people who disliked Chinedu. He invested time, energy, and resources into one goal: to bring him down at any cost.

But strangely, every attempt failed.
The rumors died quickly.
The sabotage was exposed.
The opportunities multiplied instead of reducing.

It was as though an invisible shield stood around Chinedu.

This is not new. In Scripture, Balak was determined to destroy Israel. At any cost, he wanted them cursed. He sought out Balaam, a man with spiritual authority, hoping his words would seal their downfall.

But every time Balaam opened his mouth to curse, blessings came out instead.

Because when God decides to protect a person, no determined enemy can override that decision.

There are moments in life when people may rise against you with serious intent.
Not casually.
Not playfully.
But deliberately.

Yet here is the comfort:
No one can destroy what God has decided to preserve.

When God stands as your defender, determination from the enemy becomes frustration for the enemy.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Numbers 23:23 –
“There is no divination against Jacob, neither is there any enchantment against Israel.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, frustrate every plan of those who seek my downfall.

Father, let every evil intention against my family collapse before it manifests.

Lord, surround me with Your protection and turn every curse into a blessing.
