People can speak great promises, yet forget you the moment you walk away.
They can pledge loyalty, yet their hearts are nowhere near you.
That’s the nature of humans.
They are limited.
They forget.
They change.
They fail.

But God?
He never does.

Many times, frustration enters our lives because we expect from people what only God can give.
We lean too heavily on a friend…wait endlessly for an uncle’s promise…
build hope around someone’s “I will help you…”

And when they don’t show up, we break.

Not because they failed but because we trusted them more than we trusted God.

Even when help is truly in a person’s hands, your eyes must remain on God.
Let Him be the One who stirs their heart.
Let Him be the One who positions them.
Let Him be the One who compels them to remember you.

Humans forget just like the chief cupbearer forgot Joseph.
He completely moved on, leaving Joseph in the prison of delay.

But when God decided it was time for Joseph to rise, He sent Pharaoh a dream that forced the cupbearer to remember.
That is the power of divine remembrance.

So stop depending on human promises.
Look up to God’s direction.
If He says help will come through someone,
it must happen.
No one can resist the stirring of God.

Humans may forget.
But God never forgets.
And His timing is always perfect.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Psalm 118:8 – “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, You are my source—help me shift my trust from men to You.

Father, stir the hearts of everyone You have ordained to help me.

Lord, let anyone who has forgotten me remember me by Your divine prompting.
