“A CEO IN CHAINS”

Nathaniel was once the youngest CEO of a booming tech company in Africa. At just 27, he revolutionized how small businesses accessed digital services. But his rise was short-lived. A boardroom betrayal led to a hostile takeover. Stripped of his title, Nathaniel was offered a “soft landing” by the new management, an executive advisor role with perks: a sleek office, a generous salary, and access to top meetings. From the outside, he was living the dream.

But deep inside, Nathaniel knew he was no longer building his vision. He was a king in name, but a puppet in reality. He wasn’t free to make decisions. His ideas were watered down or ignored. His voice, once influential, was now ornamental. Though comfortable, he was constrained. The dreams and destinies attached to his calling were stifled, because a king without authority is simply a slave with a crown.

This is how the enemy operates, he strips believers of their God-given authority, then offers counterfeits masked as success. He did it to Adam in Eden. He tried it with Jesus in the wilderness, offering kingdoms in exchange for surrender. But Jesus refused.

What is Satan offering you today in exchange for your kingship? Is it a toxic relationship that seems like love? A job that pays well but drains your purpose? A quick fix from a dark place? Be careful, if the King in you bows to another, you become enslaved.

Like Nathaniel, many have accepted golden cages. But it’s time to rise. Reject the false authority of the enemy. Reconnect with the KING OF KINGS, the One who crowns and empowers you to reign without compromise.

DECLARATION:
The King in me shall rise! I refuse to live in false freedom. I take back my authority in Christ, and I reign in Jesus’ name.
