“WE RISE TOGETHER”

As Inspired by THE LIVING WORD

“You’re glowing, Bimpe,” Deji said, genuinely clapping as Bimpe received an international scholarship.

Bimpe grinned, “Thank you, Deji.”

He meant it. Deep down, he knew, “If God can lift her, He can lift me too.”

You and I are not in a competition.
We were never called to outshine each other. We were called to shine together.

As you rise, I will rise.
As you win, I will cheer and when it’s my turn, you’ll cheer too.
This is partnership, not rivalry.

The sky is wide enough for every bird.
Each one flies at its own pace and altitude; some hover low, others soar high like eagles.
But here’s the beauty: God made them all.

No bitterness.
No envy.
No backbiting.
If you’re an eagle, and I’m a dove; I’ll be the most graceful dove I can be.
Why? Because God doesn’t make mistakes

I’m not trying to be you. I’m striving to be the best version of who He created me to be.
Soar, my friend. And as you do, don’t forget where we came from, don’t forget Heaven.

You and I are not in a competition.
I’m walking daily with my Father — and His plan for me is perfectly timed.

LET’S REFLECT
Competition has silently crept into the Body of Christ; among worship leaders, drama teams, preachers, even ushers. We now see ourselves as threats instead of teammates.

But God doesn’t weigh us with the same measuring scale. He gives based on ability; He gave one five, another two, and another one, each according to their capacity (Matthew 25:15).

Stop racing to outpace others. Run your own race with grace.
Don’t collapse trying to match someone else’s pace, you’ll only run out of breath.

Some people have been divinely positioned to be ahead of you, and that’s okay. Your fulfillment lies in staying aligned with God’s blueprint for your life.

I’m not preaching laziness.
I’m not endorsing mediocrity.
I’m advocating contentment — with excellence.

BIBLICAL REFERENCE: “Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.” — Galatians 6:4 (NLT)

PRAYER:
Lord, deliver me from comparison.
Rescue me from unhealthy competition.
Help me run in sync with You, not ahead or behind, but side by side with Your will for my life. Amen.
